STEMBoT Mini
The University of Nebraska at Omaha Professors have a unique connection with the surrounding schools. Since 2009 they have been making robots in-house that are used in the schools to raise interest in STEM and get kids involved. The CEEN bots were fairly popular, it was more prevalent then VEX at some schools. The issue that was placed before us this year was cost. CEEN/STEMBoTs cost up to $550. They want a more budget option to get robotics into rougher schools in Omaha, and to establish a selling point over VEX.

Overview
A team of 4 students including me is developing an ESP-32-based robot. The board's we are using have camera live streaming abilities. An IMU will be used to track orientation, and 2 360 degree servos are used to drive. I have been asked not to post any pictures of the PCB or the current design, but the boards were just ordered and V1 will be made next week. Our design satisfies the robot's specifications and is currently projected to sell at less than 10% of the previous robot. That is all while coming with more features.
