Offline functionality

The Vxnaid app is created in such a way that it will still work when the operator does not have a connection to the server. Participants and visits which are registered while offline, will be synchronized with the server from the moment the tablet is back online. Matching participants, while offline, will be done using the local database of participants. When duplicate participants would be entered in the application, the system administrator will be notified and can rectify this in the backend application.

Note: When offline, the operator can only login during the configured timeframe (see Operator Credentials Offline Retention Time). When this time expires, the tablet needs to be connected to the server to be able to login to the app.
