Roadmap - johnapaz/johnapaz.github.io GitHub Wiki
Current status — October 2, 2026: V2 is live from main after John’s explicit production authorization. Search, launch article, AI disclosure, social metadata, and dual-configuration CI are delivered. V2 launch is the current release record. Earlier milestones and production holds below are historical. Next: share the launch, deeper implementation post, physical Fold6 review, and prioritize remaining operations/toolbar/appearance/dependency work from the backlog.
Roadmap
Last updated: October 1, 2026. This is a sequence of work, not a committed delivery schedule. No target dates have been agreed. Issue status is authoritative for individual tasks.
Current milestone and next sequence — October 1, 2026
Home, professional Work, Writing/Blog, About, Coding/Projects, and Talks/Media are integrated into v2. The approved résumé storytelling enhancement is now also integrated through PR #40, merge 7b04338ababbfae33ed22cf80f223b7f4fa0811f. Staging follows v2 again. Education is a dedicated section with equivalent heading weight, an official UCF stacked black mark, University of Central Florida, Class of 2008, Bachelor of Arts in English and Technical Writing Track; committed at 4bd9d60ebe07493902e3ac1b5e01faca1f9bfbc3 following John’s request to give the degree appropriate prominence. Earlier revision/deployment records below are historical. Résumé review · Current requirements and evidence.
Résumé enhancement is complete for the approved scope: stronger sourced accomplishments, work/tool badges, industry/team cues, expandable earlier experience and details, three views, and four URL-persistent filter facets. Feature CI/deployment and deployed desktop interaction checks passed. Mobile implementation is present; physical Fold6 visual confirmation remains a release check.
About #36 remains completed after John's final sports and comedy revisions. Recent page branch histories and the approved README are reconciled.
Coding/Projects and the recovered Talks/Media archive are complete in PR #42, merge 149dc742e3b3868f5b02e8b7cb48b0975b6d39b2. The archive contains 16 speaking/slide records and seven media records; sources, unavailable recordings, provenance, and validation are documented in Coding Projects and Speaking Archive. Integrated staging publication is verified in run 36960257238; live build-info.json matches v2 commit 149dc742e3b3868f5b02e8b7cb48b0975b6d39b2.
- Proper site-wide search (#26).
- Toolbar design dive (#38), preserving existing functionality while refining hierarchy and responsive fit.
- Final content, links, accessibility, mobile/Fold6, metadata, operations and release/rollback checks, then separately approved production promotion.
No launch date is committed. Older dated queue recommendations below are history; this sequence is current.

First implementation milestone: V2 — Responsive homepage prototype. This is distinct from the full v2 launch. See V2 requirements for scope; no deadline is specified.
Design exploration can continue while staging is established. The staging prerequisite applies to implementation, not further design discussion.

Professional page progress and next queue — October 1, 2026
The professional work history prototype is implemented, reviewed and approved by John, and committed on professional-overview-preview at fc60f9beea5de8281e632151eb57d5536e2d0ae9. #35 now tracks integration and validation rather than initial development. Preserve newer homepage/featured-content changes from PR #33 when integrating this older-base branch. Canonical CI, full browser/Fold6 checks and staging verification remain pending; production publication is separate.
Recommended next page: Writing index + simple article reading template, followed by About and then dedicated project/talk pages. Search #26 remains deferred, Dark/Darker #34 remains separate, and operations #24/#29–#32 retain their existing sequence. No new deadlines are committed. See the approved professional page requirements.
