Minutes

  1. Minutes of the last meeting: ... were adopted

  2. Report from November EB meeting EB meeting: discussions about final meetings of the KADI project, everyone was supporting the idea of having a final meeting to discuss the future (possible venue: Abidjan in July, before or after the GEIA conference, 9 - 11 July 2025, ).
    Data workshop in Kenya was accepted (no formal decision yet), detailed budget will be hand in. Minutes can be found here.

  3. Discussion about Deliverable 2.5: Section about cataloguing observational assets: separate sections about Atmospheric composition observations, Ecosystem flux observations, Weather station networks, and related programs and initiatives.

Proposed responsibilities:

  • Tables about "Automatic Weather Station Networks" and "Related programs and initiatives" (KMD)
  • Section about "Ecosystem GHG flux observations" (Julius, Lutz)
  • Data assessment and analysis (Leonie)
  • Section about user requirements and services (KMD)
  • Available data in Appendix
  • Survey in the appendix

Make action points and timelines, Christine suggests to coordinate the KMD input.
Hanna will be in contact with Julius.
Survey report and stakeholder report prepared by Christine: to discuss where to put these information, Christine agreed to discuss that further within KMD.

  1. Discussion of the "Python and Data Gym" workshop in April 2025 Approved by EB, discussions with KMD director concerning funding are ongoing, KMD wishes to pass the money via KMD. Still to clarify what to do if participants have no own Laptop.
    The funds should be handed in to participants in advance (standard protocol), discussions about daily allowance ongoing (standard government procedure has to be followed).

  2. Miscellaneous

  • Separate meeting to discuss publication about Mt. Kenya atmospheric composition (and aerosol) data will be arranged by Leonie
