  2. Report from EB meeting on 03 September:

    • Joyce joined the Mountain Research Initiative Board
    • KMD isn't visible enough in the executive board
    • discussion which hotel to choose during the annual meeting in Nairobi is still ongoing
    • Jörg still works on the presentation for the ESA meeting in Frascati, presentation will be on the 23rd of September

  3. Misc

    • Kennedy compiled a draft of the survey analysis report

    • KMD will share a new version of the survey report after an internal review

    • report should be presented during the annual meeting

    • Hanna: virtual exchange week Erasmus project, (Nairobi, Johannesburg, Kinshasa Universities) in October

    • paper on the Hyytiäälä meeting (towards a global Earth observatory) is still in preparation, the African point of view needs to be properly acknowledged, KADI should be mentioned somewhere

    • KMD needs to get in touch with Gregor

    • KMD works on WP cities, system map for Nairobi, Patricia will share a preliminary version of the map

    • progress on WP Earth System Model unclear

    • KADI seems to suffer from a lack of internal communication
