Spaghetti with Tuna, Capers and Lemon - joe-possum/recipes GitHub Wiki
Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, peeled and quartered
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 3 tablespoons capers in brine or salt, rinsed well and drained (optional)
- 1-teaspoon hot red pepper flakes or more to taste
- 1 5 oz can solid tuna in olive oil
- 1-cup fresh or frozen peas
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1-teaspoon fine sea salt
- Grinding coarse black pepper
- 2 oz fresh lemon juice
- 5-⅓ oz spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons minced parsley
Procedure
Mince onion, garlic and capers together finely.
Boil spaghetti
Sauté minced mixture in ½ oz olive oil from tuna until onion softens.
Add red-pepper-flakes and tuna with oil. Flake tuna. Add peas.
Add spaghetti, mix.
