East Austin
Back Alley Stoop
Open all seasons. Generally open before noon until early hours of morning. Diverse clientele, very popular with squirrels during brunch. Family friendly for birds. Originally opened as Cardinal snack bar. Later in the summer local lizards drop in. Later in the evening the part gets started. Raccoons and possums jostle over the regular specials and the occasional a-la-carte offerings. Famous specials include spagettti dinners and BBQ.
Marvelous
place to take in the view. I love the food here. The ogres who run the place are friendly. I'm not sure if I come for the food or the atmosphere. There are huge pots for lounging where you can keep an eye on. everyone.

Meh, I can take it or leave it
I used to go here in the early spring, but I had to move on. The other customers were rude and I got bitten quite a lot by one of the customers who is tight with the ogres.

It's a trap!
I've never been super cool with this place. Sometimes the ogres leave the door opens with just a weird mesh and you can see them and smell them. But I drop in pretty often to see what is on the menu. But tonight I saw a nightmare for real. I straight up saw the ogres creep up and seize a vagrant as he was leaving the dining area. Caveat Emptor!
