Ingredients
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup vermicelli pasta, broken into small pieces
- 10-½ oz medium-grain rice
- 18 oz water
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley and/or toasted pine nuts, optional
Procedure
Sauté vermicelli in butter until brown, stirring frequently.
Add rice and water. Bring to boil. Simmer covered for 20 minutes.
Serve with parsley / pine nuts.
