Instructions
- 4 cups cooked pinto beans plus the broth
- 7 oz vermicelli noodles
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 3 gold potatoes
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1/4 piece of a white onion
- 2 garlic cloves peeled
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- ½ oz Better Than Boullion
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 1 tbs vegetable oil
- 4 1/2 cups water
Procedure
Brown turkey.
Add potatoes, salt and pepper.
Blend tomatoes/sauce with garlic, onion, boullion and spices.
Sauté vermicelli to golden brown.
Add tomato blend, turkey and potatoes, bean, water, and spices. Bring to boil. Simmer 10 minutes.
