Ingredients
- 2 yellow onions, diced
- 5 Gala apples, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups celery, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped, or ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cups stock
- 2 cups crumbled cornbread
- 1 cups chopped walnut lightly toasted
- 4 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 2 tablespoons chopped sage
Procedure
Sauté onion and celery in butter 3-5 min.
Add garlic.
Add apples.
In large bowl mix cornbread, walnuts, spices and sautéd mixture.
Pour into 9x13 dish.
Add stock.
Bake at 375°F to desired consistency.
