Braised Red Cabbage - joe-possum/recipes GitHub Wiki
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 yellow onion (diced)
- 2 lbs red cabbage (about 6-8 cups shredded)
- 1 granny smith apple (thinly sliced)
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- pepper
Procedure
Sauté onion in large sealable pot until translucent (5 min)
Add cabbage, apple, vinegar, water and salt. Cover, stirring periodically. (20-30 min)
Season with ground pepper.
