Meta
- Oven: 75 min @ 350°F
- Dish: 2 Qt
Ingredients
- 1 lb yellow onion
- 2½ lb potatoes
- 2 tablespoon rosemary
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 2 tablespoon butter
Procedure
Finely slice onion
Butter 2 Qt baking pan
Crush rosemary, salt and pepper
Slice potatoes to ⅛ inch slices
Arrange a layer of potatoes in your prepared baking dish, then top with onions, some of the chopped rosemary, salt, and pepper. Repeat the layers finishing with a top layer of potatoes and rosemary.
Add broth.
Dot butter over surface.
Cover with foil.
Cook for 60 minutes.
Remove the foil and cook for a further 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden and crisp.
2023/02/25 --- Filled with stock to cover, this was too much. Try with 2 cups.
