Currently there are no resources so that QuickText supports Thunderbird non-ESR, beta or daily channel. It is not even possible to install QuickText in this case.

Caution: Using the following workaround with Thunderbird non-ESR, beta or daily channel may cause Thunderbird or QuickText to stop working. It might even cause the loss of your data.

If you still want to try, if the current version of QuickText is working with Thunderbird non-ESR, beta or daily channel, you can try the following:

• Download the most recent version (the *.xpi file).
• Rename the file to *.zip and unpack it.
• In the file manifest.json change the value of strict_max_version as needed. Optionally add a suffix like Test to the version string.
• Pack it again and rename it to *.xpi again.
• Try to install the modified version in Thunderbird.
