Dale’s nine items (from my relatively unreadable notes taken in the dark):

1. Begin SET Planning in July.

2. Set up 2 meeting venues for EC/DEC meetings.

3. SET will be the first Saturday in October, aligned with national SET.

4. Set up Yahoo Group for all DECs to share best practices and ideas. Get everyone out of isolation.

5. Detail the SET scenario beyond high level objectives.

6. Hold Leadership training at EC meetings.

7. Set specific goals with each EC and DEC. Plan for success. Each EC to agree with his DEC as to his personal goals. Each DEC to agree with SEC a to his personal goals.

8. Help ECs understand how to plan for a SET. Recommend FEMA IS -139 course.

9. DECs WILL have a planning meeting with their ECs prior to the 2010 SET. This is MANDATORY.
