Inspiration

The idea of cloud tides draws its inspiration from the idea of the rise and fall of sea tides. Analogically, the cloud resources have usage that rise and fall just like the sea tides does, and Cloud Tides monitors the usage to deploy volunteer jobs. The logo for the project uses this idea by combining cloud and tides to represent the project. The colours for the logo are mainly drawn from VMware's very own cloud logo.
