Troubleshooting - jhaakma/ashfall GitHub Wiki

If you encounter any issues with Ashfall, you can usually find me on the Morrowind Modding Community Discord in the #ashfall channel. Before reporting a bug, please complete the following steps:

1. Confirm that you have installed all of the requirements .
2. Run MWSE-Update.exe in the Morrowind installation folder to make sure MWSE is at the latest version.
3. Replicate the issue in Morrowind:
   • Go to the Ashfall MCM, click the Development Options tab, and set the debugging level to DEBUG.
   • Enter the game and replicate the issue.
   • (If the issue is a crash, skip this step) Go back to Development Options tab in the MCM and click "Print data to log".
   • Exit the game
4. Create a bug report:
   • Find the MWSE.log file (located in the Morrowind installation folder).
   • If you are experiencing a crash, also find the MWSE_MiniDump.dmp file.
   • Do one of the following:
     • Raise a new Issue on Github.
     • Find me in the #ashfall channel in the Modding Discord.
   • Upload the log files and describe the issue you are getting and how to replicate it.
