1.3: Running Fluke900Link - jessaskey/fluke900link GitHub Wiki

Upon download of Fluke900Link on Windows 8 and Windows 10, you may receive a pop-up security warning about the application publisher being unknown. This is because I have not purchased a $150 certificate to sign the app at this point. Since Fluke900Link is free, I do not plan on paying this yearly fee. For now, you will need to click on the ‘more info’ link and ‘proceed anyway’ buttons.

Once the installer has run, Fluke900Link will exist in your start menu like any other program. You don’t actually need a Fluke900 to run the software or author scripts, you just won’t be able to run any test sequences without a Fluke900. When you launch Fluke900Link, the application will first create a working directory for it to copy example files and this documentation onto your computer. The directory created will also serve as the file repository for all projects and files that Fluke900Link uses. The default folder location will be ‘My Documents/Fluke900Files’ and this folder location is configurable in the application settings.
