Week 11

  • Me and Halisa worked on network diagram, Grant Chart, task distribution document, abbreviations, definitions and acronyms of our project.
  • Worked on last editions needed o be fixed in the project (work focused on schemas) .

Week 10

  • After discussion with professor, during this week I’ve edited the schemas I’ve been working with.
  • Fixed any scenarios needed.

Week 9

  • I finished use case tables which I have started to work on before
  • I added some user scenarios.
  • I did the activity and swimlane diagrams.
  • I did collaboration diagrams.
  • I did deployment diagram.

Week 8

  • I am studying on all types of schemas in order to share effective ideas with the group: Activities diagrams, Collaboration diagrams, Class diagrams, Component diagrams, DBD schema diagram, DFD, Deployment diagram, ERD, Object diagram, Sequence diagram, State diagram, Use Case diagram and tables.
  • Even we made a separation of schemas we have to work in, each of us is helping the other to get the right version; in this way I am giving suggestions for changes possible, and asking for suggestions on what I am doing.

Week 7

  • I have been active with sharing my idea and studying how we can improve previous Use Cases, actually I am working on Use Cases tables
  • I am working on tables which contains name, summary, actor, description, precondition, alternatives and postcondition
  • I have to send the tables to the group to discuss if any changes should be made (procedure we are following for all schemas worked by each of us)

Week 6 Midterms week

Week 5

  • I studied UML, use cases and state diagrams.
  • Worked together with the group to solve SE lab.
  • Have a clear idea how I will use them in our project, and will work on details after midterms.

Week 4

Because we met dhe customer directly during the third week everything became more clear on how our project would go on. In order to get a good product we had of course to assume for some details, to have a strong knowledge on what would be the dependencies of our software and the constraints of our project and I worked on that part of our documentation.

I also worked on some of the main functional requirement of our product, by listing some of them with a short description.

I gave each of the functional requirement it’s priority which may change during the project.

I have been active in our whatsapp group in order to give my opinion when all members sent something for discussion and when it was needed gave a help on them.

Week 3

During this week I did a more detailed research about hotel management systems. After meeting our customer together with the team member I gave special attention to:

  • the main assumptions of our project
  • constraints
  • dependencies of our software
  • I am still working on what limitations our project will have and what can we do to minimise them

Week 2

  • After the first meeting we chose a hotel management software so I had to do my own research related to this topic.
  • I signed up on git hub and learned the main commands.

Week 1

  • During the first week I did a research in what the software project consists on.
  • Then I found a project idea to discuss with the group and made a short analysis on how we could do it.
  • My idea was a system to inform the customer for the trafic conditions in any interested area, but after discussions we concluded that it would have a lot of limitations, so it would be better to have a specific customer.
