Why I Recommend Stellar Phoenix Video Repair Software - jazzwilliam/photographersworld GitHub Wiki
Being an extreme sports enthusiast, a surfer to be precise, I love to capture adventurous moments. Once, I was unable to view the videos which I have had recorded and that was a period of turmoil as the video became corrupt due to unavoidable reasons. Stellar Phoenix Video Repair software was the life saver as it helped me repair the corrupt video files.
During one of my surfing adventure, I used GoPro Hero5 to record my surf moves and techniques for others to bank upon. I was confident about recording, however, as luck would have it when I tried to view the videos later, it was inaccessible! I needed to get it fixed and that too quickly! I began searching for a reliable solution online. This was when I chanced upon Stellar Phoenix Video Repair software which had excellent reviews and a good rating. I first downloaded the demo version which allowed me to preview the recoverable video files. The good thing is that if a user is able to preview the repaired files, then the files can be saved (using the full version), else the user doesn't have to buy the software. This ensured my trust in its efficiency and finally, I hit the buy button.

The installation process was quite easy and within a moment’s notice, I downloaded the latest version. The entire installation process barely took 3 minutes. I connected the SD card to my PC and ran the software. Next, I chose the Repair Video tab and the repair process began.

Moreover, Stellar Phoenix Video Repair offers an option to preview the corrupt video files before initiating the repairing process. One of the best features which I personally liked. After selecting the video files, I clicked the Repair button and started the repair process.

After the completion of the repair process, the repaired files were listed in List of Video Files and after the video files were repaired successfully, again I clicked Preview button to ensure that they were the files that I wanted to be repaired. Being satisfied with the result, I saved the file to the desired location.

Final Thoughts
I was able to repair 90% of the corrupt videos and the rest were thumbnails and beyond repair. Still, I was satisfied with Stellar Phoenix Video Repair as the entire process was hassle-free and did not require one to have a technical know-how. Last but not the least, the time taken for repairing the files depends on the size, number of the video of the files, and complexity as well. Overall, the process was relatively straight forward. I give it a 9/10!
