Grew up working in the hospitality business in rural Maine and commuting "home" to New Jersey a few months a year. I was home schooled my entire life, and after taking a gap year for travel and to prepare for the next step of my life, came to Champlain College to study Cyber Security and Computer Network.

I became interested in cyber security during my junior year of high school. I was always interested in technology and hated hearing stories of people being taken advantage or having their identities stolen on the computer. After talking to a distant relative about a colleague of theirs acting on a red team pen-testing a bank, I was committed to learning more about the field.

After a few years of education, I can say I like the information assurance side of things, risk assessment, project management, system design, etc.
