Non-Native Steam Install

1. Open Steam and right click on Into the Breach and select "Properties"
2. Go to "Compatibility" tab and check "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool"
3. Select "Proton Experimental" or "Proton 8.0+" from the dropdown
   • Note: On all Steam platforms (Linux, Mac, Steam Deck), use Proton from the dropdown
4. Close the properties window and install ItB via steam
5. Steam will automatically create a Wine prefix and install the Windows version.

Non-Native Steam Configure

1. Open Steam and right click on Into the Breach and select "Properties"
2. In Launch Options field, add: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="lua5.1,sdl2,opengl32=n,b" %command%
3. Launch the game and ensure it runs and the "Mod Content" button appears in the main menu

Manual configuration

If the steam wine prefix and launch options is not working, you can manually configure it via wine
