Encounter

A journal for storing information and a collection of actor data for quickly creating encounters.

Monsters Tab

Drag an actor from the directory or a compendium (dragging from a compendium will create the actor in-world) to add them to the list of monsters in this encounter. You can also click the Populate from Rolltable button to configure importing monsters directly from a roll table.

The three buttons on the top left can be used to create the encounter on the canvas and optionally begin combat, or select all tokens on the canvas matching the encounter. The two that create tokens will change your cursor to a crosshairs, which can then be used to pick a point on the canvas; clicking will create all the tokens at one spot, while clicking and dragging will expand into a measuring tool that will randomly spawn the tokens within the area.

If Hidden is checked, the tokens created will be hidden from players.

Location Field

Enter the name of a Tagger Tag; this can be used with Monk's Active Tile Triggers' Create Token action to create the creatures from the encounter at a tile with that Tag.

Loot

Drag an item from the directory or a compendium to add them to the list of loot from this encounter.

Assign Items to Loot Entity

Depending on your module settings, this will either add to the already set entity, or create a new entity containing all the loot from this encounter. You can select to either use Loot journals or Item Pile actors.

This also accessible by right-clicking a note on the canvas that is linked to an encounter journal.

Refill All Items

If the remaining is less than the quantity, increases it to match.

DCs

Click the Add button to bring the DC Configuration window; here you can select a type of roll, set the difficulty, and give it a name; saving it will add it to the list of DCs for quick reference.

If you have Monk's Tokenbar installed, clicking the dice icon will initiate a Request Roll from your selected tokens.
