Breaktime

A Foundry VTT module to show when players have returned from a break or to display when a player is stepping out for a second.

Installation

Install the module via Foundry's Add-on Modules screen.

Usage & Current Features

When the window is opened, each player should see the dialog screen and can press the button at the bottom to register when they're back from their break.

Avatars can be clicked to set the back status, or right-clicked to set away.

The breaktime window can be accessed in various ways.

  • Shift+Home or Shift+Space hotkeys.
  • The breaktime button in the players list on the bottom left (this can be toggled in the module settings).

Breaktime automatically pauses the game when the dialog is opened; this can be toggled in the module settings.

The GM can also set a timer here for how long the break will last.

Step Away Button

Players may step away using the purple door icon on the token tools sidebar. When a player steps away, it can send a chat message, a notification, or both; and in the player list, that player will display with a door icon next to their name.

Chat Commands

This feature also requires Chat Commander installed.

Adds the chat commands /brb and /back to step away and return to the game, respectively.
