This session has the aim to teach us to understand the performance of simple claws/grippers and to learn the skills to implement it.
As a inspiration of a claw I'm using a lobster clamp:
Using the program Inkscape I create a .svg image of the clamp, marking the rotation center for when it's open and closed. Then I can draw the wireframe model of both situations.
Once I have these, I can create the parts of the mechanical claw. I tried to give them a more mechanic like shape.
Using the two parts in the software FreeCad I sculpt the different parts needed to assemble the claw.
