Broadcast makes it easy to distribute course files to your students. Use Broadcast prior to the start of classes to get your students set up with the files they'll need for the semester.

Picture it: you can spend the first day of class teaching instead of messing around with files!

Broadcasting from Canvas

To access Broadcast from your Canvas course site, you may have to add the tool to your course manually. To add Broadcast to your Canvas course:

1. Log into Canvas and navigate to your course.
2. Select the Navigation tab, then scroll to the bottom of the page, where hidden tools are listed.
3. Drag the Broadcast tool to the desired location in the course navigation menu.
4. Click Save. You can now launch Broadcast from the navigation menu of your Canvas course.
