Quick Start Guide - incentives-api/agcod GitHub Wiki
To use the AGCOD system, there is a one-time setup of the following steps. Once you have completed each step, proceed to the API Integration Guide.
Your Account Manager will provide you with a unique, 5-character, case-sensitive Partner ID. This identifier is required in all requests to the AGCOD service. If you have not received a Partner ID, contact your Account Manager or [email protected].
The AGCOD service imposes access control on incoming requests from partners. To gain access to make requests, follow the steps below. Note that you will need separate accounts and keys for sandbox and production environments.
i. Go to http://aws.amazon.com and click on the "Create an AWS account" button. Use a valid email address with your company domain. None of the free domains such as Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo, etc., will work. Credit card info is required for verification only. You will not be charged if the AWS account is used solely for AGCOD service.
ii. Register two separate AWS accounts for Sandbox and Production. We recommend setting up unique email addresses for each account, such as '[email protected]' and '[email protected]'.
iii. After creating AWS accounts, login to the AWS portal. Click Security Credentials at the top right of the screen and check if the Access Key ID is listed. If not, click on the "Create a new Access Key" link to generate a new one. Do not create a key for Identity and Access Management (IAM), because it is not compatible with AGCOD.
Different countries have different regulations on the upper limit for stored value.
