occurrenceID

Should be globally unique and ideally stable.

If a low and a high resolution version of a dataset, in function of the Flemish Biodiversity Portal (VBP), include SEN in the occurrenceIDs of the high resolution version.

Example:

• MBAG:MAS:15060778 (in lowres)
• MBAG:MAS:SEN:15060778 (in highres)

locality

Place name or locality description. Can be verbatim or corrected.

verbatimLocality

We previously used this field to to indicate that locality information was not cleaned. Since this field doesn't end up in GBIF csv downloads, we now recommend to use locality instead.

collectionID

Use this to identify the digital collection (or specimen collection) within an institute
