Alexa set up:

Turn on the Alexa service from the Settings page of your SMartBoard and then ask Alexa to discover new devices or scan for new devices manually using the Alexa.app. It's not necessary to install any Alexa skills, it works straight out of the box.

Alexa voice commands for LED Strips:

Replace smartboard with the Board Name you set in the Settings page of your SMartBoard or with the name you have set in the Alexa app.

  • Alexa, turn on smartboard
  • Alexa, turn off smartboard
  • Alexa, change smartboard brightness to 50% (or any other brightness value)
  • Alexa, turn on smartboard at 50% brightness (or any other brightness value)

Alexa voice commands for Relays:

If you have renamed the relays from the Alexa app, replace Relay 1 with the name you set in the Alexa.app

  • Alexa, turn on Relay 1
  • Alexa, turn off Relay 1
  • Alexa, turn on Bedroom Lamp (if you have renamed a relay to Bedroom Lamp)

You can use the same ON/OFF commands for Relay 2, Relay 3 and Relay 4
