🛠️ How to Request Features & Submit Bug Reports

Found a bug or have a cool idea to improve Homestead? We want to hear from you! Our team actively monitors feedback and responds quickly to community input. Here’s how to properly submit an issue or request:

🐞 Submitting a Bug Report

If something in the modpack isn't working as intended (e.g. crashes, broken quests, missing textures, etc.), follow these steps:

  1. Go to the top of this GitHub page and click on the "Issues" tab.
  2. Click the green "New issue" button.
  3. Title your issue clearly (e.g. "Crash when right-clicking on Tranquil Lantern").
  4. Describe the bug in detail — include what you were doing, any error messages, or logs if available.
  5. On the right-hand side, click the ⚙️ gear icon next to "Labels", and select the label "bug".
  6. Once everything is filled out, click "Create issue" (green button at the bottom).

🌟 Requesting a Feature

Have an idea for a new questline, structure, mechanic, or cozy quality-of-life mod? We’d love to hear it!

  1. Click on the "Issues" tab at the top of this repo.
  2. Click the green "New issue" button.
  3. Give your idea a clear title (e.g. "Feature Request: Weather-based farming bonuses").
  4. Describe your idea in as much detail as possible — what it would do, how it would work, and why it fits Homestead.
  5. On the right-hand side, click the ⚙️ gear icon next to "Labels", and select the label feature request.
  6. Click "Create issue" (green button).
