Candles are a new set of Lighting sources added by Hyper Lighting. The Candles also come in 13 colors. They can emit colored light by using Colored Lux (see Colored Lighting wiki page for more info)
Candles can be ignited and extinguished with the Torch Lighter Tool (also added by this mod).
Crafting
All the Candles and variants are craftable making them survival friendly. Below are the crafting recipes for the different variants
Default Candle
To craft the default candle (also used as a base for crafting all the other variants), you will need:
- 1x String
- 1x Minecraft Default torch
- 1x Flower Pot
Place the above ingredients in the middle row of your crafting table in the following order from the top: String, Torch, Flower Pot (or see image above)
Colored Candles
To craft a colored candle, you will need:
- 1x Dye (See table below)
- 1x Candle (Default)
Place the above ingredients in the middle row of your crafting table in the following order from the left: Dye, Candle (or see image above)

| Lime Dye | Lime Candle |
| Coco Beans | Brown Candle |
| Gray Dye | Gray Candle |
| Light Gray Dye | Light Gray Candle |
| Ink Sac | Black Candle |
All the above candles emit light only when lighted and they never burn out (might make them do this if requested).
