Hello, I am a veteran GameMaker 8 user who has just discovered Lateral/ENIGMA. I'm quite excited! GM8 was a great software package (in my opinion), however I have never been happy with being limited to GML, or having to shell out $200 to move up to GM:S. I am starting to learn C, using ENIGMA as a starting point.

On a side note, I would be interested in contributing to this Wiki as I begin to use ENIGMA. I remember Wikipedia has a very strict set of rules to follow when doing this. I've had a look, and found some guidelines at Help:Contents, but I can't find any rules on editing another's work, or starting an article. For example:

• Is it acceptable for me to insert or change content in a page, without posting the content in the discussion area for review first?
• Or do I make a note of it in the discussion area after?
• Or do I make the changes and leave it up to people checking the article's history to find out?
• When I make a new page, to what other pages should it be linked?

etc.

Anyway, I will find out these questions as I go. If you've stumbled onto this page and happen to know where to look in the Wiki for answers, or you just know the answers yourself, please let me know. --X 19:50, 16 August 2013 (MDT)
