Notation

Description

Creates a new shader of the given type and returns the index.

Parameters

  • type: shader constant of what type of shader to create (eg. sh_vertex, sh_fragment, etc).

Return Values

int: Returns the index of the newly created shader.

Example Call

// demonstrates creating a new vertex shader
var mysh;
mysh = shader_create(sh_vertex);
