Network connection lost (regularly) - hoylabs/OpenDTU-OnBattery GitHub Wiki
There have been many cases where OpenDTU-OnBattery is no longer reachable on a regular basis. Almost always, there is a lot of additional modules connected to it.
Users gitisgreat and Rasorblade12 found the reason (and solution):
Is it powered via USB? If so, try using the terminals instead, as this reduces the number of potential sources of error. Second step: try using a lab power supply instead of a USB Phone charger. If that works, I use step-down converters to power the boards. I even power my Tibber Pulse this way, as it is very sensitive to the power supply (stability) over the long term (days).
I found the answer: the power supply, probably the power outlet. After it got worse and sometimes didn't last 900 seconds, and I was at my wit's end, I took the power supply and USB cable and connected them to another power outlet in another room using an extension cable. It worked!
