Install Mods

Path to mods folder

In the following table, we take as example that the current Beta name is beta29.

OS	Path
Windows	<path_to_SC_install>\resources\app\mods
OS X	~/Library/Application Support/Startup Company/SaveData/beta29/mods
Linux	~/.StartupCompany/beta29/mods

If the path does not exist, you have to create the mods folder manually. Your mod needs to be placed in an subdirectory of mods, e.g.. mods/furnituremod for the example mod. Make sure to select the beta folder that matches your current version.

Hints

• <path_to_SC_install> must be the path to your Startup Company install, e.g. C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Startup Company
• ~/ is an UNIX shortcut for your home directory.
• For OS X, make sure your Finder does not hide the ~/Libary folder. Click here to learn more.
