There are a number of driver and motor options available, differing vastly in price, accuracy and strength of feedback. These options include gear-driven, belt-driven, DC motor, stepper motor and servo motor wheelbases.

If the driver can accept torque commands in PWM, the driver should work with the controller. The following torque command PWM configuration options are available:

• PWM +/- (H-Bridge)
• PWM & Dir
• PWM 0..50..100

The most common build is a servo motor driven by a Mige-type driver (i.e. m13i driver, Teco driver, Delta driver, etc.). The AASD drivers that come paired with AASD servo motors are becoming more popular of late (as of November 2020).

We recommend Mige driver m13i that has low interference, support 10k incremental encoder.
