OPD Token Printing
The OPD Token Print page generates a printable token slip for the patient. It is automatically triggered after a token is created, or can be accessed separately to reprint a token.
Navigation
Token printing is normally triggered automatically after creating a token:
Menu → OPD → OPD Token → create token → print preview appears
To reprint a previously issued token:
Menu → OPD → OPD Queue → locate the token → Reprint

Token Slip Contents
The printed token slip typically includes:
| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Hospital Name | Name and logo of the institution |
| Token Number | Large, bold token number (primary patient identifier) |
| Doctor / Department | The clinic or doctor the patient is queued for |
| Date | Date the token was issued |
| Time | Time of issue |
| Patient Name | Registered patient name |
| Instructions | "Please wait until your number is called" or similar |
Paper Size and Format
Token slips are designed for small thermal printers (POS-style) or standard A4 paper depending on the facility's setup. The paper format is configured by the system administrator.
For POS thermal printer setup, contact your administrator.
Reprinting
If a patient loses their slip, use the queue management screen to locate their token and reprint:
- Menu → OPD → OPD Queue
- Locate the patient's token in the Waiting or Called list.
- Click Reprint or the print icon.
