Manage Department Item Mapping page with an OPD service and an Inward service mapped to the Inward department

The left table lists every active investigation, service and inward service. The right table shows what is already mapped to the selected department.

Departments whose Inward Item Listing Strategy is Items mapped to the logged department only offer mapped items on Inward → Services & Items → Add Services & Investigations. A newly created service must be mapped here (or through the Item Mapping API) before staff can bill it.

Steps

  1. Select the Department.
  2. Click Fill Items Added For Department to see the items already mapped (right-hand table).
  3. In All Items, filter by name if needed, tick the items to map, and click Add Items to Department. The new mappings appear in Items Mapped straight away.

The All Items list is refreshed every time you open this page, so services created a moment ago (on the service admin screens or through the API) are included. The Item Type column tells investigations, services and inward services apart.

To remove mappings, tick them in Items Mapped and click Remove Selected.
