Retired Channel Schedules
Retiring a channel schedule template deactivates it — no new session instances will be generated from it, and it no longer appears in the active session list on the Channel Schedule Management screen. Retired schedules are not deleted; they can be viewed and restored if needed.
When to Retire a Schedule
- A consultant has permanently left the hospital
- A clinic type has been discontinued
- A session has been replaced by a new schedule with updated settings
- A session was created in error
Navigation
Menu → Channelling → Channel Scheduling → Retired Channel Schedules
Requires the ChannelSheduleManagement privilege.
Retiring a Schedule
- Go to Channel Schedule Management.
- Select the speciality, consultant, and session to retire.
- Click the Retire button (or the equivalent deactivation control).
- Confirm the action.
The schedule is marked as retired and disappears from the active session list. Any session instances already generated from this schedule before retirement remain intact and are not affected.
