Channelling Booking Count Adjustment
The Booking Count Adjustment tool allows administrators to manually correct the appointment count for a session instance. This is used to resolve data inconsistencies where the stored count does not match the actual number of bookings.
When to Use This
- A session shows an incorrect booked patient count due to a system issue
- Booking counts need to be adjusted after a bulk import or data correction
- An instance was partially populated and the count needs to reflect the actual bookings
This is an administrative correction tool, not a routine operation. For managing the number of allowed bookings, update the Max No field on the session instance instead. See Channel Session Instances.
Navigation

Requires appropriate administrative access.
How to Use
- Select the speciality and consultant.
- Select the session instance whose count needs adjustment.
- The current stored count is displayed.
- Enter the corrected appointment count.
- Click Save / Update.
The session instance's booked count is updated to the entered value.
Caution
Manually adjusting booking counts bypasses the normal booking workflow. Use this tool only when directed by a system administrator or after confirming the correct count from actual booking records (e.g., via Channel Bill Search).
