Version 10+ only
Reaction Flasks allow the player to deploy Reactions anywhere in the world.
Obtaining
Reaction Flasks are crafted using Gold Thread, Inert Crystals, and 1 to 3 Bottles of Power. To get these ingredients, you can consult JEI. Choose a Reaction you want to replicate from the Reactions section of the Journal, and make sure you choose Power Bottles that will lead to that Reaction occurring.
Once you're ready, it can be crafted using one of these recipes, replacing the bottles with your chosen Power Bottles:
Charging
If your desired reaction requires electric charge, you can use this recipe to charge the Flask:
Usage
Just right click to throw! When the Flask hits a block, it will shatter, releasing the contained Powers into a Reaction Cloud that hovers in mid-air. The Reaction Cloud will exist for 30 seconds, and will attempt to run reactions on whatever Powers it contains. Note that there is no requirement that there actually are any Reactions occurring for the Reaction Cloud to exist -- but of course it will do nothing if no Reaction happens.
Reaction will still check their Stimulus as normal. For example, the Flamethrower reaction requires a Gold Symbol, so a Reaction Cloud with Blaze will not produce that Reaction unless a Gold Symbol is placed near it.
In addition, if multiple Reaction Clouds are near each other, they will gravitate towards one another until they merge into a single entity. When merging, the Power contents of the two Reaction Clouds is added, with a max of 10000 Power (compared to the Crucible's 1600 Power maximum). Also, when merging, the resulting Reaction Cloud will inherit the longer lifespan of the two that are merging: if one has only five seconds left, and you throw a new Reaction Cloud right next to it, the resulting Cloud will last the entire thirty seconds.
