- Utilized HfLA community to represent users for usability testing.
- Sent out a recruitment message via the #general Slack channel and received 13 responses (Lyssna provides access to 15 survey responses under the free plan).
- Design team created mock-ups of new font and icon sizes (located in comments of GitHub issue), and the UXR team annotated them to include the information users needed to determine their preference.
- Used HfLA #general Slack channel for recruitment.
- Used Lyssna to create preference test survey.
- Formal UXR training was not needed, but the UXR team gathered resources on web accessibility, preference testing versus A/B testing, and attitudinal versus behavioral research in order to guide study design.
- UXR team leads provided informal tutorials on using Lyssna.
- Survey results were analyzed by Lyssna's built-in data reporting feature.
- Created slide for the 18-02-2025 stakeholder deck to discuss the results and gather feedback from the stakeholders.
