  1. What are the next steps

    • Read this whole FAQ
    • All the PMs should reach out to their team, and find out who will be joining on this project*. And get them to fill out the TDM collab roster, so that we can quickly get people the Google Drive and 1 Password access they need before Wednesday 2025-03-26
      • *People who have individual time conflicts (as opposed to the whole team having a conflict) will sit out the month of April, as their current team will be on hiatus while they work on TDM.
      • Bonnie and the other PMS from TDM, will add all the people whose info appears on this roster to the TDM Resources
    • Add questions to the Slack chat, in the thread, so that we can answer them and add them to this WIKI
  2. Will all teams be on hiatus and working on TDM?

    A: The Teams that will be joining, are mostly teams that use React, meet in the evenings, Dev lead is available on Wednesday 6pm-8pm PST. All other teams will continue as currently scheduled.

  3. Do we have to stop working on our current projects?

    A: Yes! Work on the project you are coming from will need to be temporarily halted to provide all available resources to TDM-Calculator.

  4. What is the duration for this collaboration of teams?

    A: The collaboration starts on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 and runs through Wednesday, April 30th 2025.

  5. What happens to newly onboarded members?

    A: They will join the teams that they are interested in and then become part of this collaboration for the month of April.

  6. I am a developer, can I join if I don't know/work with React?

    A: Unfortunately, no. This project is built with React and that is a prerequisite to joining. We are only inviting teams that currently working with React or where the tech lead, has extensive experience with React

  7. Who do I report to?

    A: Each collab member will report to their existing lead.

    Example

    • If you are a designer, you will report to your current design lead.

    • If you are the design lead, you will report to the TDM-Calculator Design Lead, Tristan Camacho

    • Here are the names of the leads that each lead will report to

      • Research: Abby Rivard and Melissa Perry
      • Dev: John Darragh
      • PM: Bonnie Wolfe
      • Design: Tristan Camacho
      • Content: will report to Design unless we get enough content people to justify having a separate meeting.
  8. How do we get onboarded?

    A: There is an onboarding process where you will be added to the Resources

    • Fill out the TDM collab roster
    • Receive Calendar invites for TDM teams
    • Get Added to Google Drive: TDM-Calculator
    • Get a 1Password invite and access to Test Cases Vault
  9. I am a ________, what onboarding steps are specific to me for TDM Calculator?
