Summary of Research
Question
- What did interns experience during onboarding and learning experience of the Internship 2021 Program?
- How can the HfLA Internship Team improve guidance for students participating in the Internship Program?
- How can the HfLA Internship Team improve the logistics of the Internship Program in the future?
Purpose
The purpose of this research is to understand:
- The onboarding and learning experience of the interns recruited for the Internship Program
- How to guide students better when it comes to researching and timely implementation of their work projects, communicating and coordinating with their peers, documenting their work for the people they report to, finding mentors outside of their department for guidance, presenting their education and work on their LinkedIn profiles, keeping their team/peers informed of their work asynchronously
- The scopes of improvement regarding the logistics (time and other constraints) of the program
