UXR Interview Training

Hack for LA's Internship project 2022 Summer Cohort of Interns are starting this month. We want you to help us interview them.

• You are eligible if you have already attended a Hack for LA onboarding
• Read the details below
• Fill out the UXR Interest form
• Message us in the #internship slack channel

Dates

Training

Wednesday, June 15th 5-7pm PST

Interviews

Monday, June 20th at 12-1pm (noon) PST

Cleanup

Within 6 hours you are able to upload the video to our drive (a form will be provided)

Ongoing work after the interviews (optional)

If you are interested in continuing, we would love to have you for any part of the work, more details to be provided later

Prerequisites

1. Have attended a Hack for LA onboarding meeting by 2022-06-14 You are available at both the times listed here.
2. You are able to record to your local computer an interview of up to an hour (540 MB).
3. You have a quiet place to conduct the interview and do the recording.
4. Your speaking voice is clear and will be easy for the interviewee to understand.
5. You are interested in what happens after the interview and have some availability to do post work (training for that will be held later. Dates TBD).

FAQ

Q: Can you record the training, and I'll watch it later?

A: The training has an interactive component that is required for you to be prepared; it will not be recorded.

Q: Can I do the interview with the Students at another time?

A: We need to have them all interviewed at the same time, in order to achieve a consistent result.
