Weekly Label Check for Product Managers

HackforLA requires Product Managers to perform a Weekly Label Check to keep the board organized and ensure labels are accurate for efficient task management and workflow.

💻 Loom Video Tutorial

1. Role Check

• Query: Role
• Purpose: Identifies issues missing any of the following role labels: UX content writing, research, product management, development, design, communications, or missing roles.

2. Size Check

• Query: Size
• Purpose: Identifies issues that do not have any of the predefined size labels (e.g., 13+pt, 8pt, 5pt, etc.), ensuring issues are categorized by size.

3. Feature Check

• Query: Feature
• Purpose: Identifies issues that do not have any of the predefined feature or p-feature labels.

4. Milestone Check

• Query: Milestone
• Purpose: Identifies issues not assigned to any milestone, ensuring proper milestone assignments for tracking and project management.

5. Issues Not Added to Project Board

• Query: View Issues Not Added to Project Board
• Purpose: Identifies open issues that are not associated with any project board.

The next set of checks targets issues with missing specific labels:

1. Role Missing

   • Query: View Role Missing Issues
   • Purpose: Identifies issues with the "role: missing" label, ensuring they are properly categorized by role.

2. Size Missing

   • Query: View Size Missing Issues
   • Purpose: Identifies issues with the "size: missing" label, ensuring they are properly categorized by size.

3. Feature Missing

   • Query: View Feature Missing Issues
   • Purpose: Identifies issues with the "feature: missing" label, ensuring they are properly categorized by feature.

4. Milestone Missing

   • Query: View Milestone Missing Issues
   • Purpose: Identifies open issues not assigned to a milestone.

5. Icebox Issues w/ No Dependency

   • Query: View Icebox Issues w/ No Dependency
   • Purpose: Identifies Icebox issues that do not have the "dependency" label.

6. Icebox Issues w/ Assignees

   • Query: View Icebox Issues w/ Assignees
   • Purpose: Identifies Icebox issues that do not have an assignee.
