What kind of work does the Data Science Community of Practice do?

We do all kinds of Data Science projects, from supporting other projects at Hack for LA with data analysis to independent projects brought to us by outside stakeholders. You might be creating script to scraping websites or use APIs to gather data, Analyze data, Create visualizations, etc.
