PROBLEM DEFINITION

Because of the demanding need of the farmers towards the problem of agriculture while sowing a seeds to reduce the energy loss, to manage time to make the work easier the machine is designed which is capable of moving easily in the fields, and sow the seeds, in a such a manner that it will drop one seed at a time.

Based on the feature of machine either automatic or remote. It should be semi-automatic as it should sow the seed automatically and the direction of the machine should be controlled by remote.
It should be portable. The bot should be wire less.
The machine should be user friendly. It should be interactive with the user.

Designing a machine to sow a seed which is user friendly,interactive,strong enough,accurate and portable

IDENTIFYING CONSTRAINTS

  1. The cost of the machine should be within 4000/- rupees.
  2. The weight of the machine should be 2-3 kg.
  3. The height of the machine should be up to 1 feet.
  4. The load carrying capacity of the machine should be around 100 grams.
  5. The machine should be able to sow three to four types of seeds.
  6. The machine should be of 30-40cm width.

PROBLEM DEFINITION VERSION 1.2

Design a seed sowing machine in which the wastage of seeds should be less, affordable, it should have longer life, it should be user friendly and load carrying capacity should around 100 grams. The cost of the machine should be within 4000/- rupees. The weight of the machine should not exceed 2-3 kg. The machine will be of 1 feet height. The machine should travel longer distance.Machine should be able to be functional both by battery and charging.

FUNCTIONS

  • Machine should be able to dig the field, sow a seed and cover it up.
  • Machine should indicate the completion of the task.
  • Machine should sense and indicate the obstacles it come through.
  • Machine should indicate the completion of seeds.
  • Machine should change its direction if it comes through any fence or rocks.
  • Machine should water the field by sensing the moisture content.

Design a seed sowing machine, in which the wastage of the seeds should be less, affordable, it should have longer life, should be user friendly and load carrying capacity should be around 100 grams. The cost of the machine should be within 4000/- rupees. The height of the machine should be around 1 feet. Weight of the machine should not exceed 2-3 kgs. The machine should be able to travel longer distance. The machine should indicate the completion of the task. The machine should indicate the faults occurred in it and also be able to indicate the obstacles it come through. It should indicate the count of seeds. The machine should be controlled by remote and it should be able to charge with both battery and charger and it should be automatic.
