FunOrder 2.0 – build your own Database – DB DIY

We decided to explain systematically how to build a database compatible with FunOrder 2.0. This will enable scientists with different focus (Secondary metabolism, primary metabolism, Protein interactions, Transporters, Transcription factors, Signaling … etc.) to construct a database specific for their field (eg. Plantae, Bacteria, Fungi, Animalia or more specific databases focusing on specific classes, orders or families) and use protein family co-evolution for their analysis and research.
