gainpan

Provides simple controls for adjusting level and panning.

Parameter name Description Range
level The gain level applied 0 to 2
pan stereo position -1 (left) to 1 (right)

leslie

This is a decent approximation of a Leslie rotating speaker (for the "hammond" synth, but of course you can use it on anything, including samples). Real Leslie speakers have two switchable settings. Use a slow speed of 0.66 Hz for the "chorale" effect and a higher speed of 5.67 Hz for the "tremolo" effect.

Parameter name Description Range
speed Rate of the speaker rotation (Hz) 0 to 100

lofi

This is experimental and possibly not very useful. Just occasionally it sounds good on something. Basically it attempts to emulate a bitcrusher by passing the audio through a stepped shaping function to reduce the "bit depth" but it doesn't quite sound like a bitcrusher. Note that low amplitude signals can completely disappear when passed through this. That's a feature, not a bug.

There are no parameters for this one.

mono_delay

Parameter name Description Range
delay delay in seconds 0 to 1
pan stereo pan position of the delays, negative to left, positive to right -1 to 1
feedback feedback amount, values close to 1 will go on forever! 0 to 1

postGain Gain after distortion is applied typically 0.1 to 1
frequency Center frequency of the bandpass filter (Hz) typically around 1500 Hz
bandwidth Bandwidth of the bandpass filter 0.1 to 100

pico_pebble

This is an attempt to model the Electroharmonix Small Stone phaser much used by Jean-Michel Jarre in Oxygene. Combined with the "synthstrings" synth it does a pretty passable job.

Parameter name Description Range
rate rate of the phaser (Hz) 0.1 to 10
spread extent of stereo effect 0 to 1
feedback amount of feedback in the phaser network 0 to 1
depth the depth of the phaser effect 0 to 1
resonance set the resonance, larger number give a stronger effect 0 to 1

stereo_delay

leftDelay left channel delay in seconds 0 to 1
rightDelay left channel delay in seconds 0 to 1
spread stereo spread of the left and right channels, 1 pans them hard left and hard right 0 to 1
feedback feedback amount, values close to 1 will go on forever! 0 to 1

thick_phaser

Parameter name Description Range
rate rate of the phaser (Hz) 0.1 to 10
