What is INSTANCE ?

In the terms of cloud INSTANCE is just a computer, which we create Virtually in cloud,we cannot touch / just we can work in the cloud only. Its very flexible also...While creating the Instances we can choose SIZE , MEMORY , SPEED all the terms which are related to create a instance/server.

(_ Main Thing is that we can choose all the parameter's as of your NEED_ )

[From Zero Now we will Learn How to Create a Instance/Server....]

Firstly Open and sign in to oracle cloud..

Now, Click on the Burger Menu (Navigation menu) on the Right side of Screen..

Scroll Down and Click on the COMPUTE & Now Click on the INSTANCES..

Select Compartment... (hub_compute_and_storage_compartment)

After Selecting the Compartment... Now Click on the CREATE INSTANCE

Fill up the Basic Information..

  **Give the Name Of Instance**..

In placements there is an option to choose the AD...if there is any special requirment to select the AD then you are free to choose...otherwise AD-1 by default it is selected...

Advanced options...

1.) On Demand Capacity ::- It is the most popular and Widely usable Capacity. (Industry use Mostly). In this type of capacity you have to pay only whatever services you are serving/using. Main Thing [If you are Destroying / Terminating capacity you are not liable to pay]

2.) preemptible Capacity ::- Mostly NO one use it , these are the servers, which are already retired.. (some of the cloud service providers give the facility to use the retired servers) It is used by the small companies/organization who are doing for TEST purpose. (Not Reliable).

3.) Capacity reservation ::- DIFFICULT TO USE (NOT IN DEMAND)...For use of any of services you have to inform the provider in Advance then only you
can use the servers (At the time instantly you can't take the services instantly) (ex:- Business grow gradually ,industries face problems if they can't get the services instantly.)

4.) Dedicated Host ::- we will be Assigned by the Entire server...(It contains 200/300 CPUs , 20-30 GB memory) Big Giant server ( It's very Costly)
Only used by the BIG Industries/Organization.

5.) Compute Cluster ::- It's n NEW option , Not used Mostly (Right Now) also , they have good CPUs and Large Memories/Advance kind of Hardwares. It's growing gradually (It can be used by After Few years..) IT's Very Costly Also.

Change the Image and choose the ORACLE LINUX image... and in downside click on the select image..

Avoid choosing First/superior image Everytime because it is always in a Testing Face...

Change the Shape::- It is like selecting no. of CPUs & Memories...

Security::- By Default all the options are selected...

NETWORKING ::- select hub_network_compartment & Automatically hub_vcn is provided by the OCI.

SELECTING PUBLIC SUBNETs..

THEN,

SSH KEYS ::- In this you will Get a Pair of Key which Help to Login into the Servers.( At the first time we have to create it Compulsorily)

            In this there are two keys PUBLIC | PRIVATE Key. (Both are required to login the server)
              Both Keys are different to each Other..known As ** A SYMETRIC KEYS**

Boot volume ::- RAM OF THE COMPUTERS.

CLICK on CREATE and finalise it...

INSTANCE Creation is in Progress...

HENCE INSTANCE CREATED...
